- The Service Provider is Shield & Ledger Consulting Group Ltd., operating under the laws of Canada and Australia.
- These terms apply to all users, including visitors and registered clients accessing the portal.
- We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of changes.
§ 2. Definitions
- Platform – The website and secure client portal operated by Shield & Ledger.
- User – Any natural or legal person accessing the Platform.
- Account – The personalized panel allowing the User to access specific Services.
- Services – Consulting, auditing, and information services provided electronically.
- Regulations – These Terms of Service documents.
§ 3. Scope of Services
- Shield & Ledger provides information regarding asset protection and tax planning. Content on the public website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
- Specific consulting services are rendered under separate engagement letters signed by the client.
- Access to the Client Portal allows for secure document exchange and status tracking of contracted services.
- We strive to ensure platform availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime due to maintenance or technical issues.
§ 4. Technical Requirements
- To use the Platform, the User requires a device with Internet access and a current web browser supporting TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Cookies must be enabled for the proper functioning of the Client Portal.
- Users must have an active email address to register an Account.
§ 5. User Obligations
- The User agrees to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration and service engagement.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials.
- It is prohibited to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or financing of terrorism.
- The User must not attempt to breach the security of the Platform or access data not intended for them.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of violating these Terms or applicable laws.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of Ontario, Canada, or New South Wales, Australia, depending on the client's location.
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the use of the website.
